I have been looking for this song for many years! I had to google « 1976 disco song, Shay Shay ». This was a great song. I was 8 years old when it came out. I can’t believe she says « Tommy Matolla ».

As Kid might say, « But she sure can sing! » I actually think she represents the era perfectly. Very beautiful. Hair and all!

She aint much to look at but she sure has a set of pipes on her. Too bad she didn’t put out more hits like this and pow wow. Those 2 songs are the bomb.

I was humming this tune to myself all day today so I figured let me search youtube and here it is. Thanks the ’70′s was my decade.

FYI: Tommy Matola was their manager at the time–that’s why his name gets dropped in the lyrics.

Oh, what wonderful memories. I can still remember like it was yesterday. My uncle bought the vinyl album over, I was 10 years old and we played it on our gigantic blaupunkt wooden stereo that was more like a piece of furniture. I played this song so many times I thought I would burn the record out.
